چکیده
A formulation of regenerated silk fibroin solution that can be easily functionalized and inkjet printed on numerous surfaces is developed. As an example, the inks can be printed on laboratory gloves that change color when exposed to bacteria.

Reactive Inkjet Printing of Regenerated Silk Fibroin Films for Use as Dental Barrier Membranes
Current commercially available barrier membranes for oral surgery have yet to achieve a perfect design. Existing materials used are either non-resorbable and require a second surgery for their extraction, or alternatively are resorbable but suffer from poor structural integrity or degrade into acidic by-products. Silk has the potential to overcome these issues and has yet to be made into a comm...
متن کاملInkjet Printing of Carbon Nanotubes
In an attempt to give a brief introduction to carbon nanotube inkjet printing, this review paper discusses the issues that come along with preparing and printing carbon nanotube ink. Carbon nanotube inkjet printing is relatively new, but it has great potential for broad applications in flexible and printable electronics, transparent electrodes, electronic sensors, and so on due to its low cost ...
متن کاملWater-based and biocompatible 2D crystal inks for all-inkjet-printed heterostructures.
Exploiting the properties of two-dimensional crystals requires a mass production method able to produce heterostructures of arbitrary complexity on any substrate. Solution processing of graphene allows simple and low-cost techniques such as inkjet printing to be used for device fabrication. However, the available printable formulations are still far from ideal as they are either based on toxic ...
متن کاملFully printable, strain-engineered electronic wrap for customizable soft electronics
Rapid growth of stretchable electronics stimulates broad uses in multidisciplinary fields as well as industrial applications. However, existing technologies are unsuitable for implementing versatile applications involving adaptable system design and functions in a cost/time-effective way because of vacuum-conditioned, lithographically-predefined processes. Here, we present a methodology for a f...
متن کاملInkjet printed flexible antenna on textile for wearable applications
We report a direct write inkjet printing technique for fabricating a flexible antenna on textile for use in smart textile applications such as wearable systems (Rienzo et al. 2006). The complete antenna was deposited entirely using inkjet printing. The inkjet printed antenna is based on a half wavelength dipole antenna offering a planar structure and acceptable size. The printable silver nanopa...
